The school does not maintain housing for students. A list of reliable Realtors and rental properties in close proximity to the school will be provided to the student that requests housing assistance at the time of enrollment.
Tutoring is available to students who demonstrate a need of it as determined by low achievement on exams or poor technique performing clinical skills. If the program includes preparation for a State Certification, arrangements regarding tutoring may include auditing a class close to the State Exam date, as well as Peer Tutoring after class, or during Open Lab.
>> Student Records:
The school retains student records for a period of 5 (five) years. Student grades will be maintained longer in accordance with state archiving and records retention laws. These are available to students upon individual request. If the student signed a “Release of Student Records†form, records will be provided to potential employers and to other schools. Any graduate of Levin School of Health Care requesting replacement of credentials will pay a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for the replacements.
>> Student Placement:
Students meet with the Placement/ Career Advisor upon beginning the program of their choice. The Placement/ Career Advisor will assist the student in obtaining employment. Employment is not guaranteed.
The school has two job fairs each year in an effort to assist students and graduates in obtaining employment.
